I've been trying to work on my fitness recently, (slowly but surely!) so I have been experimenting with a few shakes. This one is amazing! It uses hemp protein powder which is a complete protein, meaning it contains all your essential amino acids as well as being a rich source of omega 3 essential fats. I combine with spinach, rich in folic acid, vitamin C and iron ( you really can't taste it ) bananas, a rich source of potassium, and some amazing Alpro dark chocolate flavoured almond milk. I then blend in my breville blender
( this is amazing, it is the quickest way to blend with minimal washing up, you can also make up two bottles for on the go) You're left with a delicious power shake.
Ingredients
A handful of organic spinach
2 or 3 table spoons of Hemp protein powder
A glass or two of Dark chocolate flavoured almond milk
3 ripe bananas.
Blend!

DeleteYUUUUMMM, I need to try this! I made an avocado chocolate mousse the other day. Delicious. Also I made some dark chocolate out of agave nectar, coconut oil and cocoa. I AM SO HUNGRY NOW.

DeleteYum to the yum. I do mainly vegan smoothies though I tend to put them up on Instagram @wonderlustinglynda - I often use hemp milk but haven't used hemp powder so will have to check that out.
